Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama responded to a question whether Albania would help Kosovo by sending a police force.
Rama said Kosovo is an independent country and there is no reason for police forces from other countries to be on its soil.
According to Euronews Albania news, Rama said: “Why does Albania help Kosovo? Why does Kosovo need other countries’ police on its territory? “Territorial integrity is already protected by the entire international community,” he said.
Rama said earlier this week that Kosovo has the full support of the Albanian government regarding the events in northern Kosovo.
