It was reported that 10 people were hospitalized due to ammonia leakage from the tank at the factory located in Pančevo, known as the industrial city in the central part of Serbia.
According to the statement issued by the emergency service in Pančevo, 10 people were hospitalized due to the leakage, and it was noted that there was no major problem, and that the patients had only short-term breathing problems.
In the news broadcast by Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS), it was reported that the tank in which the leak occurred was parked on the unused train tracks near the industrial zone, and settlements near the area were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, 51 people were poisoned when a train carriage loaded with ammonia overturned on December 26 in Serbia.
