Ambassador Ilhan Sayceli, Director General of the Balkans and Central Europe Region of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo, Krishnik Ahmati, as part of his visit to Kosovo.
A written statement issued by the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that during the meeting, they discussed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of security and defense and deepening the excellent relations between the two countries regarding the process of Kosovo’s integration into international organizations.
He stated that Sejceli affirmed that Turkey will continue to support Kosovo with all its means during the meeting.
During the meeting, he stated that the dialogue process between Kosovo and Serbia, the latest developments in the region, and the organization of political consultation meetings between Turkey and Kosovo were also discussed.
Ilhan Sayceli also met with the President of the Kosovo Democratic Party of Turkey (KDTP) and Kosovo’s Minister of Regional Development, Vikrim Damca.
Saygılı will visit the KDTP headquarters in Prizren, southern Kosovo, and meet with representatives of the Turkish community in the country tomorrow.
