The Serbian government decided to help the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria as a result of the earthquake that struck Kahramanmaraş, which struck 11 provinces.
According to the written statement issued by the Serbian government, at the government session held today, it was decided to provide medical equipment, medicine and cash assistance to earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
The statement indicated that one million euros of cash aid has been allocated to be used to meet the needs of the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, and it was also reported that it was decided to send medical equipment and medicines worth nearly one million euros. for both countries.
The statement also mentioned that it was decided to facilitate the passage of humanitarian aid that will be transported to the earthquake zone through the Serbian customs area.
The Serbian Islamic Union Meshehat stated that 188,000 euros had been collected within the scope of the ongoing aid campaign, and that 175,000 euros of this amount had been sent to the Presidency of Religious Affairs, and the remaining amount would be handed over at the end of the campaign.
He stated that 40,000 euros in aid had been collected within the scope of the campaigns organized by the Serbian Charity Forum and the Svitionik Association operating in the Sanjak region, where the Bosnian population is densely populated.
And NGOs in Sanjak announced that the organized campaign to heal the wounds of earthquake victims is continuing, and announced that aid will be collected for a month.

The National Historical Museum in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has announced that it will donate the weekend’s income to the earthquake victims.
