Serbian Defense Minister Miloš Vucevic has complained that Pristina is providing the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) with powerful systems to transfer to the Kosovo Army.
Noting that the armament is the clearest violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and the Kumanovo Agreement, the Serbian Minister of Defense also received other systems such as howitzers, anti-armor and attack systems, in addition to the drones that they received as donations from Turkey. “They are sending officers to NATO countries to train and conduct joint exercises,” he added.
Reiterating that it is in Serbia’s national interest to maintain peace and stability, Vucevic noted that Pristina’s weapons are incomparable with the military potential of the Serbian army, but the armament is clear indications that they have a strategy to develop the Kosovo Army.
Regarding this situation, Vucevic added that Serbia should define its operational plans and, in his words, train the army and create appropriate military equipment systems.
