Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic claimed that Croatia was trying to overthrow the Belgrade government.
Claiming that Croatia views Serbia as its regional rival, Vucic said that Zagreb does not want to see a successful and respectable Serbia.
Speaking to Pink TV, Vucic stated that besides Zagreb, part of the Sarajevo-Podgorica politics wants regime change in Serbia at any cost, Vucic said, “They’re not doing it against Aleksandar Vucic, I’m not the target. The target is Serbia.”
In response to these statements, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković stated that Croatia had no hidden agenda against Belgrade.
More obsessed with what is written in the Croatian media, Plenković said, “The Croatian government and its institutions do not have a hidden agenda to overthrow the government in any neighboring country, including Serbia.”
Plenkovic stressed that his country wants to strengthen its relations with Serbia and hopes for Serbia’s stability.
