President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop and the accompanying parliamentary delegation went to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, for official meetings.
Parliament Speaker Sintop and his delegation were at Nikola Tesla Airport, Deputy Speaker of the Serbian National Assembly Osama Zukorlik, Chairman of the Serbian-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Group Muammer Bachevac, Ambassador of Turkey to Belgrade Hami Aksoy, Secretary General of Turkey Mehmet Surya Er, welcomed by Secretary General of the People’s Assembly Pakistani Arab Asif Hajiyev.
During his visit, Şentop was accompanied by parliamentary writer Isaac Gaziel, Chairman of the Turkish Group of the Union for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean Cemil Ayrem, Chairman of the Turkish-Serb Parliamentary Friendship Group Mustafa Esgin, and AKP Mugla Yilda Deputy Erol Kokan.
Sentop, who will be received by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, will meet separately with Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Speaker of the National Assembly Vladimir Orlic. Sentop will attend the 60th General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly for Black Sea Economic Cooperation, where the presidency will pass to Turkey.
