The Turkish Courses Certificate Ceremony organized by Alsar Foundation was held in different cities in Albania.

Founded in 2006 in Tirana, the capital of Albania, the Alsar Foundation is a non-governmental organization working in the fields of education, culture and social assistance. It continues its activities throughout Albania and in the Balkans. Among these activities are the Turkish language courses, which have been ongoing since 2014.

According to the protocol signed with the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, Turkish teachers appointed by the Ministry of National Education work in the courses. Hundreds of students have benefited from this service that has been going on for nine years. Courses continue with the participation of students of all age groups in the center of Tirana, in Kocs County on the border with Kosovo, in cooperation with Kosovo Municipality, and in Konispol County, on the Greek border in the south of the country.

A certificate ceremony was held at the Tirana International Hotel for students who attended Turkish language courses in the academic year 2022/2023 and were successful. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Tirana, Pilot Kacan Atay, Education Counselor of Tirana Metin Bulut, President of the Sar Foundation Mehdi Kara, representatives of various non-governmental organizations, teachers, students and parents.

Speaking at the ceremony, the head of the Alsar Foundation, Mahdi Qara, said that the courses have been going on for nine years, and hundreds of students have benefited from these courses, and that the courses will continue in the coming years. He conveyed his thanks to the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Tirana, and the educational advisor for their support in these studies.

Mr. Pilot Kacan Atay, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Tirana, the guest of honor of the ceremony, also conveyed his thanks to the Alsar Foundation and its President, Mehdi Kara, for their services. Expressing that the ability of the Albanian people to learn languages ​​is impressive, Atay said that these courses can be initial preparation for students to continue their educational life in schools in Turkey, and they can acquire the necessary language knowledge through these courses so that they can work in Turkish companies serving in Balkans. He thanked the students for choosing to learn Turkish and for their efforts.

After handing over certificates and gifts to the successful students, a scholarship distribution ceremony was held for the successful students studying at the university. The educational grants offered with the support of NGOs in Turkey were presented to eligible students by the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Tirana, Educational Counselor and President of the Alsar Foundation.

While everyone left the party with joy, the President of the Sar Foundation Mehdi Kara stated that a similar ceremony will be held in the first week of June for the Turkish language courses held in Konispol.
