In Croatia, the government decided to amend the Tax Code and eliminate additional taxes for local governments.
The new application, which was introduced to support citizens’ budget, will cause local governments to lose a total of 212 million in revenue. In this context, it was reported that Zagreb will lose 126 million euros and divide 12 million euros.
The government envisages that local governments will compensate for this by increasing the income tax rate and setting rates between 15 and 24 percent.
