President and Vice President of the Turkish Democratic Party (TDP) Pekan Ilyas made statements about the presidential and general elections in Turkey.
TDP Chairman and Vice President Beycan Ellyas made the following statements in his statement on the matter:
I would like to congratulate the People’s Alliance under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the presidential elections and the 28th parliamentary session held in our homeland Turkey on Sunday 14 May 2023.
The elections, which took place with a high participation which is rare in history, revealed the people’s desire to protect their will.
Using their will to self-determination, the Turkish people have once again placed their trust in President Erdogan. Show more.
We have no doubt that the success of the People’s Alliance, which won the majority in the Tunisian National Alliance, will continue in the new period as usual.
I hope that the results of the elections will be beneficial for our country, Türkiye, and for the entire Turkish world.
We strongly believe that President Erdogan, who won the most votes in the first round of the presidential election, will again get the people’s support in the second round.
As Turks from North Macedonia, we always stand by our homeland, the Republic of Turkey.
