The content prepared by TRT will meet the audience on the 28th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 11, 1995.

The Srebrenica genocide, in which nearly 10,000 Bosnian civilians were killed by Serb soldiers, is described as Europe’s largest human tragedy after World War II.

According to TRT’s statement, the first episode of “Dayton,” the original production of TRT’s international digital platform “Of Course,” will be broadcast on TRT 1.

After the Serbian siege, the first episode of the “Dayton” series, which revolves around meeting parties in the city of Dayton, Ohio, and what happened within it, will be shown on TRT1 with the first episode. This evening at 19.00.

The productions will highlight the genocide in Srebrenica

TRT co-production “Quo Vadis, Aida?” By Golden Bear Award-winning director Jasmila Zbanic, sheds light on the Srebrenica genocide. It will be presented to the public for the first time on TRT 2 at 20.30 tomorrow.

The film, which made its world premiere in September 2020 at the Venice Film Festival, the most important film festival in the world, won awards at many important film festivals after Venice and Toronto.

Mothers and women expelled from Srebrenica began to return to Srebrenica, albeit with difficulty, to get closer to the graves of their murdered families. The documentary “Mothers of Srebrenica Search for the Missing”, which deals with the efforts of the mothers of Srebrenica to find their relatives, will be broadcast on TRT Documentary Channel at 20.00 tomorrow.

The documentary “The Unstoppable Bitter Srebrenica” about the genocide in Srebrenica will also meet the audience at 10.30 tomorrow, the “Almanak Srebrenica Special 202”, where the commemoration ceremony for the genocide in Srebrenica will be broadcast at 11.00, and the film “Balkan Time Srebrenica” at 15.25 on TRT Turk.

On the other hand, the Srebrenica genocide will be covered with special guests tomorrow on the programs Gündem and Günüstü that met the audience on TRT Radio 1.

There will also be a genocide broadcast on TRT TSR and TRT Memleketim FM throughout the day.
