The teams participating in the 57th International Folklore Festival, which kicked off in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, staged a parade march.
Performances of folk dances, music and modern dance performances were held on the first day of the festival, which began with parades of the participating countries’ teams in the city center.
After the cortege procession at the festival, which was attended by folk dance groups and dance groups from many parts of the world, groups from Georgia and Spain performed at Ban Ylacik Square.
The festival will end on July 23.
