The Bulgarian army is still looking for military personnel. Positions in the Ground Forces, Logistics Support Command, and Joint Special Operations Command.
The largest number of military personnel was sought in the Logistics Support Command, with a number of 280 people. Applications are due by January 27. But this is also the newest structure in our military and has been in operation since September 2021.
Another new organization in the Army, Special Operations Command, is looking for 30 soldiers. The Special Operations Command has had a special training area in Tsrinça for several years. Applications are due by February 10th. Examinations for both disciplines will be held at the beginning of March.
255 military personnel are required for the ground forces. Candidates continue to have requirements such as being no more than 40 years old, eligible for military service and not having been convicted.
The Bulgarian Ministry of Defense states that professional soldiers enjoy benefits such as special training, divisional housing, and different wages.
According to the 2021 Defense Report, the ground forces suffer the most from the shortage of military personnel, which negatively affects their combat readiness.
