Bojar Osmani, Chairman of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia, held talks in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As part of his contacts in Sarajevo, Osmani held a press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konakovich.
Osmani stressed that the fight against corruption will come first during his tenure as chairman of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, saying, “Fighting corruption is a major priority for the region. Noting that they discussed cooperation between the OSCE and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Osmani noted that the OSCE carried out important activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially after the 1992-1995 war in the country.
Stating that the OSCE is of great importance to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Konakovich said, “Today, the OSCE is even more important during the war in Ukraine.” He said.
Osmani also received members of the Presidential Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
