The Kapliyana Islamic Cultural Center was inaugurated with the support of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
The Kapljina Cultural Center was inaugurated by Şefik Dzavirović, former member of the Presidency Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vice President of TIKA Mahmud Cevik, Turkish Consul General in Mostar Yasar Argun and Mostar Mufti Salem Dedović cutting the ribbon.
Mahmut Cevik, in his speech here, said that he has been visiting the region for 20 years and was in Kapljina for the first time.
Noting that the region is rich in cultural diversity, Ševik said, “I am really happy that our Bosnian friends have a place where they can protect their identities and build their own. This cultural center that we opened will have a strong position in preserving, building and passing on the Bosnian identity to the younger generations.” He said.

Expressing that people coexist with their culture and that a nation without culture cannot survive, Vice President of TIKA Cevik thanked everyone who contributed.
After the opening ceremony, the breakfast program was organized.
