A ceremony was held for the graduates of the 58th class of the Kosovo Police Academy.
President Vgusa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti also attended the graduation ceremony of 419 new graduates who will join the Kosovo Police.
Addressing the ceremony, President Vjosa Osmani said, “The police profession is a noble profession, so I have full faith that the young officers who graduate will perform their duties with honour. It is not easy to graduate from the Kosovo Police Academy, but remember that the badge you wear represents above all the values and aspirations of our people In these moments when you will make a sacred vow to join your colleagues, you also have the responsibility to protect the borders with our partners. The Republic of Kosovo must be a member of Interpol and Europol. The more women there are in security institutions, the more security we provide to all our citizens without discrimination. Stating that the Kosovo Police remains one of the most reliable institutions for the citizens, Prime Minister Albin Kurti said, “As the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, we are determined to fight against all types of organized crime in order to protect the sovereignty and integrity of our country.
