By the decision of the Islamic Religious Union (Religious Affairs) of North Macedonia, aid was collected in mosques across the country last Friday for the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
The Offices of the Mufti of Skopje, Gostivar, Kirchova, Štep, Koprulu and Debre, which operate within the framework of the Islamic Religious Union of North Macedonia, shared the donations collected in their respective mosques on their social media accounts.
According to the statements issued, a total of 284 thousand 264 euros (5 million 716 thousand 361 Turkish liras) were collected in the mosques belonging to the aforementioned mufti.
Donations collected by the Mufti are as follows:
Mufti of Skopje: 9 million 625 thousand 980 dinars and 156 thousand 620 euros
Mufti Gustivar: 3 million 440 thousand 65 dinars, 55 thousand 936
Office of the Mufti of Koprulu: 1 million 84 thousand 778 dinars 17 thousand 639 euros
Step Mufti: 685 thousand and 50 dinars, 11 thousand and 139 euros
Mufti Debri: 1 million 284 thousand 327 dinars 20 thousand 985 euros
Office of the Mufti Kirchova: 1 million 286 thousand 460 dinars, 20 thousand 918 euros
