The Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina has informed the citizens that a monitoring flight will be carried out over Bosnia and Herzegovina next week within the framework of the “Open Skies” treaty.
To the observation team of the Armed Forces of Turkey, Croatia and Hungary, which will conduct an observation flight over the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina between July 17-21, 2023 in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sarajevo International Airport.
This flight marks the fulfillment of the obligations of the international agreement on “Open Skies”, which Bosnia and Herzegovina is also a signatory to. The flight will take place with an unarmed Turkish Air Force aircraft along the agreed route, with the participation of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina support team.
