The prime ministers of the Netherlands and Luxembourg are expected to arrive in Pristina on Tuesday to ease tensions in northern Kosovo.
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel will meet Kosovo President Fyuza Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti during this visit.
The visit of the leaders of the Netherlands and Luxembourg coincides with a period of heightened tensions between Kosovo and Serbia.
The leaders of the Netherlands, Luxembourg, the European Union and NATO are expected to send a message to the leaders in Kosovo and Serbia about the need to reduce escalation, calm the situation in northern Kosovo and return to dialogue under the mediation of Brussels.
Rutte and Betel will visit Serbia before Kosovo.
