A conference on “Traditional Turkish Archery and Cultural Heritage” was held in Prizren, Kosovo.

Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Assistant Vice President. doctor. Kutlamış Yalçın, the institute’s coordinator Ramazan Yilmaz, lecturers and violinists attended.

Kotalmish Yalcin, who made a welcome speech, said that archery is both a physical and a mental sport, and this sport should be appreciated.

Yalcin added that the interest and keen interest in traditional archery in Kosovo is amusing.

the professor. doctor. Göksu said that the arrows used by the Turks had different characteristics from other arrows and that the bow and arrow were good tools of war.

Göksu said, “The bow and arrow was a weapon that we can consider advanced as the technology of that period. With the logic that the country was captured by the sword and ruled by the pen, the Turks gave importance to the technique of warfare. Expressing that the Turks attach great importance to archery, Prof. Dr. Speak Erkan Goksu on the characteristics of Turkish bows.

The conference concluded with the presentation of a painting and a family photo.
