In Berlin, the capital of Germany, those who lost their lives in the earthquakes that were the epicenter of Kahramanmaraş are commemorated.
The Turkish German Community (TGD) and the German-Syrian Aid Associations organized a memorial event in front of the historic Brandenburg Gate in Berlin.
The event was attended by Germans as well as Turks and Syrians in the country.
German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier also attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.
