The toys thrown on the field during the Serbian Premier League match between the Novi Pazar and Radniki football teams will be sent to the children affected by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş.
Before the match, which took place at the stadium of the city of Novi Pazar, the largest city in the Sandzak region, where the Muslim population in Serbia is dense, tickets were not sold and fans were asked to come to the stadium with games.
At the event organized by Novi Pazar’s supporter groups and the “Open Hand” charity organization, fans came to the stadium to watch the match with plush toys.
Before kick off, fans threw the toys they had brought with them onto the field for the officials to collect and give a message of unity and solidarity with the people in the earthquake zone.
