Balkans |  Turkish athletes completed the Bulgarian Open Taekwondo Championship with ten medals

According to the statement issued by the Turkish Taekwondo Federation, the national athletes won a total of 10 medals, two golds and a silver, in the organization that gave points for the quotas for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

In the tournament held in the capital, Sofia, Turkey was represented by 20 athletes, 12 men and 8 women.

The organization’s medalists are:

Gold: Deniz Dagdelin (54 kg), Umar Faruk Dayoglu (58 kg)

Silver: Merve Dincel (49 kg), Hatice Kübra İlgün (57 kg)

Bronze: Rukia Yildirim (49k), Sudi Yarin Uzuncavdar (73k), Ferhat Kan Kavurat (68k), Mehmet Emin Yildiz (74k), Hüseyin Kartal (80k), Emre Kotalmış Acli (+87k).
