The national wrestlers of Balıkesir Metropolitan Bilisspor, Yasemin Adar Yigit and Feyzullah Akturk, will be on the mat at the European Grand Prix Wrestling Championships to be held in Zagreb, Croatia. The athletes who won the European Championships last year are expected to take the victory lap with the Turkish flag on the mat this year.
Yasemin Adar Yigit and Fizullah Akturk, players of the Balıkesir Metropolitan Belediyespor club, are preparing to go to Zagreb, Croatia, to participate in the major European wrestling tournament. The wrestlers, who will be on the carpet between April 17 and 23, will represent Turkey abroad.

Yasemin Adar Yigit, who will compete in the women’s 76-kilogram freestyle category, will sweat to win the European Championship medal, which she has won 5 times before, for the sixth time. Yasemin Adar Yigit, bronze medalist at the 2020 Summer Olympics and world champion between 2017-2022, is among the strongest in the European Wrestling Championships.
Akturk will win the gold medal
Kurtdereli Oil Wrestling President Pehlivan Feyzullah Aktürk, 24, will hit the rug at 92kg in the men’s Freestyle category. Feyzullah Akturk, who participated in the European Championships for the first time last year, achieved great success and became the gold medalist. Akturk is expected to achieve the same success this year.
The successful athletes of Balıkesir Metropolitan Bilisspor Club, Yasemin Adar Yigit and Fizullah Akturk, are expected to receive the championship medal and take the victory round with the Turkish flag on the carpet.
