Turkey will send two amphibious firefighting planes and a firefighting helicopter to fight the ongoing forest fires in Greece.
The Communications Presidency said:
On the instructions of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, two firefighting planes and a firefighting helicopter registered in the inventory of the General Directorate of Forests of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will be sent to Greece with flight crews.
A highly manoeuvrable amphibious aircraft and firefighting helicopter produced with local and national resources will be used in the neighboring country to respond to the forest fires in Greece.
