The Ipsala-Keppi Bridge and its surroundings, which connect Turkey and Greece, have been cleaned up by the two countries side by side.
In order to prevent possible flood disasters, the rubbish accumulated around the bridge that forms the border was cleaned up by the Turks and Greeks working together.
All the garbage accumulated around the bridge was cleaned up as a result of optimistic and coordinated work, and the normal flow of water was ensured.
The Meriç River, whose waters rise from time to time, especially during the winter months, has caused great damage to the cultivated lands on the Greek and Turkish sides in the past years.
In response to a possible flood disaster, the area was cleaned for precautionary purposes with joint work being carried out for precautionary purposes.
