The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned against “limiting outdoor activities” during peak hours.
The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, included his warnings against the effective heat wave in a post on his Twitter account.
Ghebreyesus, who called on people not to go out in extremely hot weather unless necessary, recommended wearing light clothes and drinking plenty of water.
“Limit outdoor activities during off-peak hours, avoid strenuous activities, and check on loved ones who are at risk, especially the elderly and children,” says Ghebreyesus. Use his statements.
