Young kickboxer Türker İsmail became the champion by taking first place in the national championship held in the capital, Skopje.
After returning from a long injury stint, Turker added a new injury stint to his successes by competing in the 52 kg class.
Türker, who appeared in the competition wearing a “Pray for Turkey” T-shirt, said he dedicated the first place to the earthquake victims affected by the disaster in Turkey.
Türker also participated in the aid drive organized in the center of Skopje in the past days.
