After the World Cup, which was held in France in 1938, football fans were deprived of the most prestigious football organization in the world for 12 years.
After the tournament in France, ii. World War II deeply affected the entire world. For this reason, the World Cup cannot be organized for 12 years. This exciting tournament, which witnessed unforgettable moments and events throughout history, was brought back to life only in 1950 after the end of the war.
It was decided that Brazil would host the 1950 tournament.

Mexico and the USA from North and Central America. Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay from South America managed to participate in the tournament.
Uruguay defeated Brazil in the final game of the tournament to win the title.
